Benriner invented the Japanese mandoline, and have manufactured it since 1945. The Benriner Super Slicer Mandoline is a wider model than , with a 9.5cm-wide cutting surface. It is a great tool for preparing onions, potatoes, radishes, cucumbers, carrots and apples for stir-fries, salads and garnishes that you will find yourself reaching for again and again. It features a standard flat blade that can adjust from 0.3-4mm and 3 additional interchangeable blades to produce fine, medium and coarse shreds. It comes with a finger guard, which must be used for safety; we also recommend using . It is compact and easy to store.
