Demeyere Egg Poaching Pan
-
Detail
The Demeyere Egg Poaching Pan is the easiest, most foolproof way to poach four eggs at a time. It can also be used as a saute pan (without the poaching insert).
---DETAILS---
The Demeyere Egg Poaching Pan – essentially a saute pan with four small steamer inserts – takes all the guesswork out of poaching eggs (and ensures perfect results, every time). Its main part is a stainless steel saute pan with a sandwich base containing heat-responsive aluminium, a comfortable handle, and a convenient glass lid. The poaching insert fits on the top of the pan, and features four small bowls sized for a single egg. The insert has a PFOA-free non-stick surface, and stainless steel loop handles for individually removing each bowl from the pan. To poach eggs, all you have to do is heat water in the saute pan, then place the insert on top and crack four eggs into each bowl. (We recommend adding a bit of butter and oil first.) This lets you avoid all the common pitfalls of poaching eggs, from leaking yolks to scraggly whites. This pan is suitable for all hobs including induction.
---BENEFITS---
'This pan is multi-purpose. It provides a foolproof way to poach eggs, but you can also use the insert to steam other small ingredients. Without the insert, it can be used as a versatile saute pan.'
