    The Gastrolux non-stick saute pan is a staff and customer favourite for many reasons. The thick, sturdy base, with integrated magnets for induction hobs, retains heat very well, ensuring the ingredients at the edges of the pan will cook at the same rate as those directly above the burner. This also helps protect the non-stick coating from overheating, making it more durable than most standard non-sticks. The removable, stay-cool handle contains no screws or loose parts. With a simple click, you can detach the pan so it can go in the oven (up to 260°C) and attach it back just as easily, no glove required. Every pan is made of recycled cast aluminium and hand-layered with Biotan, a unique combination of ceramic and three coats of PFOA-free non-stick finish that is a coveted trade secret for how easily it releases food, requiring very little oil. The coating is approved and certified food-safe by the Danish Technology Institute. This pan is particularly good for frying batches of smaller ingredients; a saute pan has high walls so that you can easily flip ingredients to brown them on all sides. It comes with a lid so you can readily steam, braise, stew, poach, and more.
