A versatile, multi-ply stainless steel pan that is especially good for reducing sauces. Part of our ‘best-of-the-best’ range from Mauviel.

    ---DETAILS---

Halfway between a frying pan and saucepan, the Mauviel M’Cook Splayed Saute Pan outperforms standard stainless steel pans by miles because of the way it’s designed. It has outer layers of 18/10 stainless steel, which make it induction-compatible, plus three inner layers of heat-responsive aluminium. The middle layer of that aluminium is pure, meaning there is no adhesive agent in it that slightly weakens its power. High-quality, scratch-resistant steel that’s polished on the outside but brushed on the inside, and a curved rim allows easy pouring.

Designed with small European kitchens in mind, pieces in the M’Cook range stack together neatly. It will last a lifetime, guaranteed.

Mauviel M’Cook pans, including handles, are polished and finished by hand; this may result in minor abrasions or scuffs. These are considered normal and do not have any impact on performance or durability.

While M’Cook pans are dishwasher-safe, please note that dishwasher detergents that contain harsh chemicals such as potassium are abrasive to the aluminium edge on the rims of these pans. This can cause the edge to feel sharp over time, but does not affect performance.

    ---BENEFITS---

‘The wider surface area lets you toss small vegetables like Brussels sprouts around the pan, and the smaller base lets you reduce caramelise onions until they are nice and jammy'
