The Meater Plus Meat Thermometer is a wire-free probe with dual sensors to measure food's internal and ambient temperature, which you can monitor from the Meater app on your phone. It is simple to use: Insert the probe into a piece of meat and select which meat you are cooking on the Meater app – you'll then see a drop-down menu with different cuts of that meat. Choose your cut, start cooking, and the Meater will guide you through the rest of the process, including how long to let meat rest before you cut into it. The built-in bluetooth on the Meater Plus has a range of 50m (as  opposed to 10m for the original Meater), making it ideal for barbecuing, but just as good for use in the kitchen. You can even extend your wireless range using Meater Link WiFi and the Meater Cloud. The neatly designed, water-resistant bamboo housing will charge the probe for up to 100 uses with a single AAA battery; it features a magnetic backing. The Meater app not only monitors your cooking, but also provides alerts, step-by-step instructions, and estimated times, so you can manage the process easily.
