Peugeot Palace Wood / Silver Pepper Mill / 10cm

Detail
Made of aged wood and silver-plated metal, the Peugeot Palace series is like jewelry for the dining table.
---DETAILS--- The French company Peugeot may be most commonly associated with cars, but they actually made spice mills first, far back in 1874. In the 146 years since, no other salt and pepper mills stay as sharp, resist corrosion as well, and last as long, which is why nobody in the culinary industry would hesitate to call them ‘iconic’. Peugeot pepper mills are made from hardened steel, so they can withstand the stress of grinding tough peppercorns without shedding some of its own metal along with it. They have helix-shaped mechanisms that make peppercorns wait their turn before being cracked in half and further ground to your preference. Adjusting the grind is simple with a turn of the knob on top of the mill—the tighter the knob, the finer the grind. The Palace Pepper Mill, ideal for collectors, features noble aged wood and silver plating of a standard so high it is recognised by French law as first grade. A matching is available for purchase separately.
---BENEFITS--- ‘Any fine dining restaurant worth its salt (excuse the pun) has a Peugeot mill. Expertly crafted inside and out, these grinders seem to “wake up” pepper and salt just before it reaches your plate.’
